NH Research 4700-30 DC Electronic Load
The NH Research 4700-30 DC Electronic Load is a 30kW power device engineered for a diverse range of electronic loading scenarios, whether integrated into automatic test stations or used as a stand-alone bench-top setup. With fast-transient simulation, thorough internal measurements, and full current at low voltages, this load is specifically made for testing applications. It's perfect for testing power conversion and storage items including telecom rectifiers, batteries, and DC power supplies.
The 4700-30 supports a number of common test programming languages and may be controlled remotely or manually via its user-friendly touch-panel GUI. It provides a special capacity to create intricate dynamic load profiles with stepped responses, changeable slew rates, and microsecond pulses. These dynamic profiles are controlled by macros, which are run by the load for quick transitions and saved in the system controller. Each macro can have up to 100 steps.
Because it has built-in measurement functions, this DC electronic load eliminates the need for external instruments such as digital multimeters (DMMs), power meters, or digital storage oscilloscopes (DSOs). By doing away with the need for extra equipment, these internal measures greatly increase testing throughput and save money. Especially, the 4700-30 performs exceptionally well in dynamic timing measures, such as Rise-Time, Turn-On-Time, Settle-Time, and Overshoot, guaranteeing accurate and effective testing.
The 4700-30 has advanced safety functions built in to safeguard both the load and the unit under test (UUT). With programmable safety limits to guard against damage from operator or programming errors, as well as internal and external problems, these include Over-Voltage (OV), Over-Temperature (OT), Over-Current (OC), and Over-Power (OP) protections. A safety limit causes the load to immediately stop operating, show an error notice, and block its output until the problem is fixed.
With the addition of auxiliary modules, the 4700 Series' modular design for field extension while maintaining operation, allowing for an increase in current and power capacity. This functionality gives test engineers the ability to adapt to changing requirements without having to buy brand-new machinery. The device is a complete solution for contemporary electronic testing demands, with additional features including remote sensing, performance monitoring, self-testing, calibration functions, and fan noise reduction.
